My Reason “why” I do what I do

This gets personal and I am not afraid to share this with you as my hope is that it will help another family.
My Mom is the reason why I do what I do.

As I reflect on this Christmas season, it is the first Christmas without my Mom.
You can be prepared for a loss but I don’t think we are ever ready.  You will always miss that person. In our family we keep my Mom’s memories alive by telling “Lala ” stories and imitating some of her unique expressions.  Amidst the grief of losing your Mom, there is humor and lots of love as you reflect on her life and the impact she had on all of us.

I do what I do because chiropractic care changed my Mom’s life when I was 19. She suffered for 4 years with back pain and sciatica due to a serious car accident.  Her quality of life was not good and it effected the whole family.  Chiropractic care was the one thing that turned her health around and gave her hope.  I was so impressed with her results I needed to find out what she had done differently. The chiropractor took the time to explain to me that there was a misalignment in my Mom’s low back and it was putting pressure on the sciatic nerve.  By adjusting the vertebra it would take the pressure off the nerve and allow her body to heal on its own. I was blown away with how simple that was and how much sense it made to me. At that moment I knew I had found my calling. And I was upset that none of her other doctors had recommended this to her. The reason why I do what I do is I don’t think anyone should have to suffer like that. I believe that by providing the best care possible the body will heal from the InsideOut and thus make a positive difference in the quality of life.
